In Your word it even says that our emotions are fleeting and cannot be trusted; according to Ecclesiastes 11:10 "Therefore, remove sorrow and anger from your heart and put away pain from your body, for childhood and the prime of life are fleeting." So I do not put my trust in my own emotions but I put my trust in You my God who that I serve. Lord I ask that You wash me clean of all negative emotions and give me the healing that l need to combat my flesh and rid me of all of the old memories and traumas that has caused me hurt

I sit in the mercy seat in the courts of heaven. I repent to You Lord for all of my sins today. Create in me a clean heart. I also declare that I let go of any unforgiveness that I may have hidden somewhere in my heart. Forgive me Father for holding onto anything. Lord, Your word says that if I regard iniquity in my heart, You will not hear me. (Psalm 66:18) I also just don’t want to hold onto any bitterness in my heart unknowingly.  I put on the whole armor of God and I saturate myself in the blood of Jesus Christ as I start this prayer.
